PROFILE
I have a diverse set of media design and production skills in TV, Film and the Web. And over 12 years of experience building multimedia and Flash web sites, including more than 5 years building an online kids community and game Flash site. I produce, write, project manage, design, animate and program. I’m a Flash expert familiar with all its many facets and uses, from art to programing. I’m an ActionScripter able to program in AS2 and AS3, and a producer able to come up with new and original ideas quickly and under pressure. I'm a leader, mentor and collaborator.  I'm a huge creative and technical asset to any team.

I'm a contractor hired to produce, write and develop original games.

FLASH DEVELOPER AND PROJECT MANAGER, ZOOKAZOO; PALO ALTO, CA — 2008
Currently contracted to manage, produce and develop a video submission tool, a user content management tool, and video play back of user submitted video. Developing Flash client, managing back-end development, videos are submitted and viewed at www.ZooKazoo.com in the ZooTube Theatre. Developed Grafix Lab, a paint tool.

LEAD FLASH DEVELOPER, SCHWAB FOUNDATION; SAN MATEO, CA — 2002-2007
Built online kids community applications, games, and create tools allowing kids to create and share their own content. Produced, conceptualized, designed, animated and programed. Developed unique and efficient methods for dynamic Flash by using xml, .asp, php, Flash SharedObject, Flash LocalConnection, Flash RemoteConnection, and Flash Media Server. MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER & HEAD AUDIO ENGINEER, GRACE CATHEDRAL; SF, CA — 1998-2002
Worked full time, then continued as a contractor. Multimedia designer building media portals, web interviews and stories, and editing audio and video pieces for the web. Audio engineer for live webcast events with renowned guests including Jane Goodall, The Dalai Lama, Vince Guaraldi, and Garrison Keillor. Trained, scheduled and managed all other audio engineers.

FLASH AND MULTIMEDIA ARTIST/PROGRAMER, TECHTV; SF, CA — 2000-2001
Designed and built web pages, Flash interfaces and animation. Implemented convergence media, interactive TV, wink, and streaming media. Built QuickTime portals and interfaces using Flash and LiveStage.

MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER, STANFORD'S SCPD/SMW; PALO ALTO, CA— 1999-2000
Designed and built Flash and HTML sites for departments at Stanford University. Project managed, supervised and trained web production artist. Taught intro to HTML and web page making extended education classes.

DIRECTOR OF VIDEOGRAPHY, HIP-HOP DOCUMENTARY; SF BAY AREA, CA — 1997
A colorful 30-minute documentary about the three elements of Hip-hop; rap, graffiti art, and dancing.

DIRECTOR, HOME-WORK HOTLINE; PORTLAND, OR — 1985-1988
A one hour live studio production aired twice a week. Two teachers on two different marker boards would walk thru home work problems asked by callers. The callers where on the air interacting with the on air teacher.

PRODUCER - WRITER - DIRECTOR - TALENT, J-TV; PORTLAND, OR — 1985-1988
A weekly thirty minute magazine show dealing with teen issues and viewed in Portland public school class rooms. I won a Northwest Film and Video award for a feature about a new public transit system in Portland. The five minute feature was showcased in the media museum at Portland State University. Also, I was camera and technical director for a live broadcast of a high school basketball game.
